Biological Engineering
Graphene has an outstandingly and impressive set of traits. With its large surface area, high electrical conductivity, thinness and strength, graphene is believed to be an effective material to create fast and efficient bioelectric sensory devices. By using graphene to create these sensory devices, it has the possibility to monitor things such as glucose levels, hemoglobin levels, cholesterol and DNA sequencing. Graphene may even be used as an antibiotic or a form of anticancer treatment and has the potential biocompatibility to be used in the process of tissue regeneration in the near future. Graphene has an endless amount of uses and possibilities in the medical field and can be on its way in a couple of decades.

Optical Electronics
Graphene also has a value in optoelectronics, specifically touchscreens, liquid crystal displays or LCD's and organic light emitting diodes or OLED's. With this wonder material, graphene has the potential to work in optoelectronic applications due to it being almost transparent and its ability to trasmit 97.7% of light. This means your phones could potentially be made out of the lightest and strongest material on earth known to man in the near future.

Composite Material
Graphene is strong, stiff and very light. Currently, aerospace engineers are incorporating carbon fibre into the production of aircrafts as it is a very durable material however, graphene is far stronger while also being also much lighter. Eventually, graphene will be potentially integrated into plastics such as epoxy to create a material that can replace steel in the structure of a aircraft, improving fuel efficiency, range and reducing weight. Due to its potent electrical conductivity, it could even be used to coat aircraft surface material to prevent electrical damage resulting from lightning strikes and from other dangers out in the field. Graphene coating could also be used to measure strain rate, notifying the pilot of any changes in the stress levels that the aircraft wings are under. These characteristics can also help in the development of high strength requirement applications such as body armour for military personnel and vehicles. Because graphene is the strongest material known to man, its possibilities are almost endless added with the fact that it's lightweight and flexible. With this in mind, the future of graphene as a composite material seems high in the near future.

Graphene Condoms
Graphene is THIN, IMPENTRABLE, AND FLEXIBLE - the PERFECT BARRIER. Being one-atom-thin, impermeable to everything except water, a composite material capable of being formed into any structure, and an excellent thermal conductor makes graphene the best material to be used for the production of condoms. Graphene condoms enable for safe, yet pleasant sex. Its impermeable trait, prevents sperm from passing through. Being ultra-thin and its great ability to conduct heat makes it seem as if the user is not even wearing a condom. Most condoms limit pleasant sensations which deter people from using them. However, graphene condoms can persuade more people to use condoms for intercourse, promoting safe sex. Graphene condoms can protect people sexually transmitted infections and prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Still, it is wrong to use condoms in the first place. The promotion of safe sex by graphene, and the confidence it gives users of a fruitless intercourse will cause problems. Graphene condoms may protect people from physical consequences, however, it is this sense of protection that blinds them from the moral and psychological consequences. Graphene condoms will persuade people to have fruitless sex frequently. Condoms stop the natural purpose of intercourse - reproduction. There are negative effects when people use sex other than its intended purpose. If lust-driven people are always having sex, they will soon get bored of it. Thus, making reproduction seem like a chore. The population will decrease if people stop having children. The human body is not a toy, nor should it be abused for one's own pleasure. Sex is solely for the purpose of reproducing, per God's command to man, "Be fruitful and multiply" (Gen 1:28). The use of condoms closes the door to human life. |
